Benefit mini haul | Review

Hello lovelies!
Im back!
I have been busy with life so I haven't been posting much but I have a bit of free time this morning so I though.. why not!

Today I'll be showing what I recently got from Benefit and doing a little review on all the stuff I got!

Lets start with the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation

(purchased from Benefit Cosmetics)

I got this in the colour Beige. Its a tad dark for my skin but perfect if I have a tan!
It states that its oil free but for my skin it does tend to feel oily throughout the day, and when I'm on my way home from work I can feel it on my skin and it feels a tag heavy and greasy. It gives great coverage however, so with a little setting powder to keep the shine away I'm good to go!

next is Fakeup
(purchased from Benefit Cosmetics)

I really love this product! It is extremely hydrating for the eye area and it does help to smooth out the fine lines I have. I do like my under eye area to be nice and bright, so I do go over it with another concealer (refer to my previous blog post for details) but for my day off look when I'm just hanging around the house its perfect!

Gimme brow!
(purchased from Benefit Cosmetics)

I have heard a lot of good things about Gimme Brow so I HAD to have it. When I was blonde the colour was perfect for me, but now I'm darker I need to invest in the other shade.
This is such an easy product to use! you simply brush it through following your shape and the use the tip to define and BOOM brow game.

The PORE fessional
(purchased from Benefit Cosmetics)

Should have put this before the foundation but oh well.
Im a bit on the fence with this product. I find that I need to wait a few minutes after I put my moisturiser on before I apply this other wise it balls up!
I also find that it doesn't keep my make up set alls ay and my nose especially starts to wear quickly.
But it works well for my cheeks!

Dandelion

(purchased from Benefit Cosmetics)

First off, I love this packaging!
This is a beautiful blush. I would describe the colour as a pink with coral tones.
I haven't applied it with the brush it comes with, I have been using a face powder brush I got from xobeauty.
It blends beautifully and its buildable.

Next are two samples I got with my order, Girl Meets Pearl and Sun Beam

Im not sold on these yet. Im not sure if I'm using them wrong but if I apply them over my foundation it seems to separate and remove my foundation and just look completely weird.
I read that some people add them to the foundation which I will have to try because yeah I don't like either of them at the moment :(

ok well thats it for today! If you have tried these products before comment below what you love about them!

How To | Orange with a pop of blue

Hello Lovelies!

I thought I would do something a bit different today and post a How To!

The other day I created (and by created I don't mean I'm the first one to do it) a Orange with a pop of blue eye look!

I absolutely love this look so I wanted too share it with you guys!

(Sunglasses from Sportsgirl, Necklace from Lovisa)

First off for the base I used my new Loreal Lumi Magique Foundation in N4  which I believe is Beige
(Purchased from Myer)

Next I Concealed and slightly highlighted under my eye with the Maybelline Super Stay 24 concealer in Cream
(purchased from Target)

(I haven't linked Myer or Target because i don't believe you can buy cosmetics online)

Next I set it all with my Australis Fresh & Flawless powder
(Purchased from Priceline)

Next is the eyes!

For majority I used my new Chi Chi Brights palette
(Purchased from Target)
I used One mixed together for the base all over the lid and near the brow bone
I used Two in my crease with a fluffy blending brush and created a little V on the outer corner
I used three on the part of lid that was still showing once those two colours were blended
And I used Four for the blue pop of colour on my inner corner and lightly blended but not too much so it was still bright

I also used BH cosmetics 26 Colour Palette

(Purchased fro  BH cosmetics)

I used that one colour under my eyes along the lash line

I also used  BH cosmetics 28  Colopur Palette Smokey Eyes Edition
(purchased from BH cosmetics)

I had never used this colour before but I got a small amount on my brush and lightly blending the V on the outer corner with this red to make it a red/orange tone
It turned out really nicely!

I used my new Chi Chi black is black eyeliner
(Purchased from Target)

I created a small thin wing at the sides

I then used two mascaras
My Benefit They're Real mascara and Maxfactor False Lash Effect (which I'm not sold on)
(They're Real purchased from Benefit Cosmetics and Maxfactor purchased from Myer)

When I applied the False Lash Effect it didn't add any length so I topped up with They're Real Mascara

For highlighting and contouring I first used
Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder

I used this to contour my cheekbones and temples

I then when in with
Sleek Makeup
Contouring and Blush Palette Medium

(Purchased from Luxola)

I highlighter with One on top of my cheek bones, forehead and bridge of my nose
I then when in and detailed my contouring with Two lightly over the Maybelline Dream Sun for definition

I used my all time favourite blush
Too Faced Sweethearts blush in Candy Glow

(Purchased from Beauty Bay)

I only used those two colours at the end because it was a more orange/coral look and I didn't want there be too much colour going on

For my lips (I forgot to take a photo!)
I used Chi Chi Viva La Diva lipstick Wrapped Around My Pinkie

And thats the look!

I hope you enjoyed reading!
